location was great for shopping in birmingham
Reception staff were very helpful to every question asked printing maps, giving advice on where to eat etc.
Found the bed a littel soft and as it was on wheels, if you sat up, it moved around the room.
The staff were all very friendly - the food was good value and the room comfortable.
Breakfast is great value, free wifi in room, great location and free parking
Drinks in bar are typical hotel prices, noisy drunks on Saturday night
No hassle cvar parking, well informed staff.
Its very good vakue for money and the staff were very helpful, taxi's were cheap enough to take you into town so position wasnt a problem.
The bathroom floor was not very clean, and the beds moved around, I woke up in a different part of the room.
Very Hot water on demand - I like this...
Noisy Guests, Old carpets with stains, Loose shower, to use a laptop you had to unplug the tv - no other sockets
facilities and location gave good value
Evening meals could be a lot better. No proper lounge area
Close to city centre
Attracts younger guests who like to party after us grey ones want to sleep. But it takes all sorts to make a world. Double glazing couldbe upgraded to minimise traffic noise more effectively.
Pleasant , helpful staff and very good breakfast
The room was tired, breakfast disgusting (cheap ingredients that had been sitting there for hours) for which I paid approximately an extra £7 on top of the extortionate £50 for the tired room which had no sensibly placed plugs. I left feeling entirely ripped off. There was no time to complain as I was on my way to attend a course but had I had time I would have demanded a refund for breakfast. The bed provided an interesting experience as it was so cheap and practically weightless that it moved around when sat on.
Cosy envneronment and budget friendly.
Middle-of-nowhere and weak Internet access.
the fact that at 2.45 am to 5.45am other guests chose to prevent us from sleeping because, Im assuming one of their friends had fell asleep and locked them out of the room. In a drunken state they shouted and banged then went to the carpark and shouted continuously to try and wake their friend. We were staying on the 1st floor so we bore the brunt of all the noise. What was most annoying is that not once did i hear or see a night porter who could tell the guests to calm their noise or even assist them to get back into their room. I complained the next morning and they said various guests made complaints.
Only 2 towels so no hand towel Only 2 lumpy very small pillows. The hotel had ran out when we asked for 2 more. Shoddy decor. Inefficient Reception staff
Rooms were clean, Staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast dishes were constanly replenished and hot.
We would have liked more tea and coffee in our room and perhaps a packet of biscuits rather than the one - you are surprising thirsy and nibbly after a lot of dancing and socialising in Birmingham.
